Hello! I'm Keira Lambert - a family, newborn and maternity photographer based on the Jurassic Coast, UK. I am a sunset chasing, symmetry seeking, sensitive soul lucky enough to be mama to one little girl, Ivy. As such I often feel a desperate need to stop the clock and soak up every tiny detail of motherhood and beyond. I am passionate about creating beautiful, timeless images of you and your loved ones to look back on forever.

A little about me

After leaning towards the arts throughout my school years, I fell in love with photography at 16. More specifically fashion photography. I became obsessed with putting together a perfect concoction of beautiful clothing, expressive poses and emotive concepts to create romantic, moving imagery. After my degree in Fashion Photography and with six years working in the industry under my belt, I have endless experience organising photoshoots, styling, putting together look books and much, much more. Speaking to ex-colleagues of mine you'd discover I am a quietly confident creative, with an eye for detail (sometimes annoyingly so!) and an exhausting work ethic. However, after the arrival of my much longed for daughter, it was time for a change. It's safe to say that no phase of my life has affected me so deeply as becoming a mum. It's undeniably true that parenthood changes you forever, and for me it was definitely a massive shift in both my priorities and my ambitions. Experiencing motherhood first hand, watching my daughter as she grows, and celebrating each tiny milestone has left me with a yearning to document every fleeting moment and hold onto these beautiful days.

I realised that helping other families to capture these moments was absolutely the best job I could dream of.

So, over the past few years I've loved working with lots of different families and developing my warm, natural and intimate shooting style. I've always had a natural affinity with children, and it's such a joy to spending time creating enivronments where they can play, explore and let their little personalities out. Not only is a photoshoot an opportunity to document their childhoods, but it's also always a really fun experience for all involved.

I'm passionate about working with families, at their own pace, pairing together stunning locations and outfits to document the profound and messy rollercoaster that is parenthood. I know that families come in all shapes and sizes, and I'll work hard to make you feel at ease throughout the whole process so I can document your story in a way that's authentic and personal to you.
