Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based on the Dorset/Somerset border, covering Bridport, Crewkerne and surrounding areas. Lots of my recommended shoot locations are closer to Bridport, on the beautiful Jurassic Coastline, but I'll consider anywhere particular you have in mind. I am happy to travel as long as I can make it work for my little family. There will be an additional travel fee for anywhere over 15 miles from Crewkerne.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your edited images within 2-3 weeks after the session. You will be able to view all the gallery and select your favourites to be downloaded as high-resolution files (number of downloads will be determined by the package you choose). As a print lover myself, I have also decided to include a selection of beautiful prints with every package, which you will then select from your files. Orders for these are placed at the end of every month, so once you have decided which of your files you would like printed, please let me know as soon as you can and I will add them to the next print order.
How many pictures will we receive?
This depends slightly on the type of package you choose, but your gallery will usually have approximately 60 edited images to select from. The number of images you can download is determined by the package you choose. However, if you decide you would like to purchase all the images, of course you will have the option to do this afterwards!
What do I wear?
When you book a shoot with me I will send you my specially tailored styling guide as well as some pre-shoot tips to get the best result from your images. In addition to this I always offer a styling consultation if you would like - either via whatsapp, zoom or telephone - whichever you prefer! With a background in Fashion Photography, I am very comfortable assisting you with styling as much as you would like.
I'm worried that my child/ren will be grumpy/naughty/un-cooperative!
They might be, but that's ok! I am experienced with children and very good at reading the atmosphere. I will work with however they are feeling to get them playing, cuddling or chatting. My sleeves are stuffed full of little tricks and games to get them engaged! I also send a questionnaire out with every booking so you can note down anything in particular you are concerned about.
Do you photograph weddings?
At the moment, no, I'm afraid not! I exclusively focus on babies, children and families. However, I am very happy to do couples/engagement shoots - submit your enquiry below!
What if it rains?
When you book your shoot I take a £50 booking deposit to secure the date. If we need to reschedule the shoot due to weather (we don't mind a little rain, but a complete wash out makes it impossible) or for another immovable reason then we will simply find another date that works for both of us! The deposit will be transferred over to the new date. Available for one reschedule.
